#7 BAGEL BITE FRENCH TOAST

Good morning party people!  Oh boy do I have a treat in store for you today.  This is my rendition on a typical Sunday morning french toast.  This is basically your generic good ole’ french toast, EXCEPT, it is made with a bagel slices.  I love using a bagel because the crust becomes really chewy, the inside remains soft, and crunchy layer of fried egg surrounds the entire piece.  My adorable test subject for the day, Will Hoeschler, gave me the two thumbs up, although we were both upset that we couldn’t find any confectionary sugar to drizzle on top.

I highly recommend using real maple syrup (I have never been a fan of the fake aunt jemima garbage).  You can experiment with different fruit toppings (or chocolate… it comes from a cocoa bean which sounds quasi healthy, right?)
