#6 OVEN ROASTED SPICED POTATO SLICES

(home cooking version)

Welcome back Skidmore!  I wanted to share some goodies with you that I made at home over break, it is always a treat to be able to cook again in my own kitchen.  My Mom and I made a hearty meal the night before my departure consisting of miso tofu, balsamic asparagus, and spiced potato slices.  My mom has made spiced potato slices ever since I was a wee infant, they were definitely a staple of my childhood.  If you fancy a sweeter version, you can substitute regular potatoes for sweet potatoes and drizzle a butter & brown sugar mixture on top.  If your feeling courageous, melting marshmallows on top give them an extra kick :0  Anyway, I hope you enjoy this simple tutorial.
